Q 3: At 11:30 in the morning on Day of `Arafah (9th of Dhul-Hijjah), I found some passengers wanting to travel to Jeddah and I was in a state of Ihram (the ritual state for Hajj and Umrah) for Hajj. Was it permissible for me to take them to Jeddah and then return to `Arafah to complete my rites?
A 3: It is impermissible for you to have taken them from `Arafah to Jeddah while in Ihram for Hajj. You should have remained in `Arafah until the sunset following the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
